Black Brass

Burial rites in a rotting future metropolis. Concussive sub-bass drums anchor clouds of grey machinery, frozen choral tones, and tense soundtrack keys. Structures coalesce and disperse like fog. Black Brass is a shuddering industrial assemblage of myriad sources including strings, scrap metal, and recordings from an abandoned tile factory and a condemned pier. Here, for the first time, percussion, guitar and analog synthesizer extend the sonic palette. Hollowfonts (Florida’s Michael J. O'Neal) has releases on Phinery & Sacred Phrases.
